ho are the enemies.This time we visited the historic Scotish city called Stirling. The cityis famous for the battels whis ran here. Round 1297 the legend William Wallace defeated the English king Edvard I. Couple years later Robert the Bruce beat the English king Edvard II and by it the Sco
tis people got indepece. That is the story...The true is that the Scotish are quite proud about this midevil period of their history so they build up monuments and celebrate their ancistors with honour and respect .
We ave seen the battlefields, monuments, museums...whatever...and during these visits...two things came to my mind. First I have to watch the Gibsons movie:). The second, I must visit some of those Czech national monuments cos I am fucking proud of
my little complexed, conservative country in the centre of Europe:)(it is not the Eastern Europe realy, who does not trust he chesks the map)Than we walked in the city centre and looked for the cheapest place where to have coffee. The selection infiltered expencive places and we finaly sat down in Mcdonalds an BurgerKings:) I really do not like these symbols of globalisation but one would say if you
are out of money you do not bother where and what you have:)and the impression? Well Stirling is lovely city with historical atmospehere and midevil tradition. It is worth of seeing. Take you umbrella with you and learn the song: "Under my umbr ela ela eh eh... or ask Chorche he can teach you:)
